Coaching for men using a GLP-1

Lose the fat. Keep the muscle.

A GLP-1 takes the weight off. It does not choose which weight. We coach men over 30 to make sure what comes off is fat, and that they come out stronger than they went in. Dubai, London and online.

The part nobody mentions

The scale can't tell fat from muscle

In the large trials, somewhere between a quarter and two-fifths of the weight people lost was lean mass. Appetite drops, protein drops, training slides, and the scale looks great while strength quietly goes with it. For a man in his forties that is muscle he will want at sixty, and it is far slower to rebuild than it was to lose. Read the evidence.

What we do

Four things that protect your muscle

Strength training that keeps it

Two to three full-body sessions a week, planned around your energy. Progressive enough to give your body a reason to hold on to muscle, sensible enough to run on a low-appetite week.

Protein on a smaller appetite

A protein-first plan built from food you can actually eat when you are not hungry. Targets set from your goal weight and spread across the day.

Measuring what matters

Strength, waist and body composition, not just the scale. If the weight drops and your strength drops with it, the plan changes.

Habits that outlast it

The routine, the plate and the muscle are what stay with you. We build them now so the result holds, whatever comes next.

Who it is for

Leaner and stronger, not just smaller

Men over 30 who are using a GLP-1, or about to start, and want the result to be a leaner, stronger body rather than just a lighter one. Long hours and frequent travel are the norm, so the plan is built to survive them. Coaching runs through the Optimum app with weekly check-ins, plus in-person sessions in Dubai and London.

Questions

GLP-1 coaching, answered

Do you lose muscle on a GLP-1?

It is common. Body composition scans in the large trials found that roughly a quarter to two-fifths of the weight people lost was lean mass. Strength training and enough protein are the two habits shown to reduce it.

How much protein do I need on a GLP-1?

A 2025 joint advisory from four US nutrition and obesity organisations suggests about 1.2 to 1.6 grams per kilogram of goal weight a day while losing weight. For most men that is around 100 to 140 grams, spread across the day.

Can I train hard while using a GLP-1?

Yes, with adjustments. Lower appetite can mean lower energy, so sessions are planned around it: keep the load, trim the volume on flat days, and keep the strength work going.

Do you advise on the GLP-1 itself?

No. We coach the training, nutrition and habits around it. How and when to use it stays with whoever provides it.

Can I do this online?

Yes. Coaching runs through the Optimum app with weekly check-ins, and in-person sessions are available in Dubai and London.
